Hi there! My name is Luna Vista, and I'm a 1-year-old Poodle mix with a gentle heart and an even gentler soul. My foster family says I'm their little shadow because I love knowing where they are and am usually close by. Once I know you're my person, I love quietly keeping you company.

I'm a pretty laid-back girl who enjoys life's simple pleasures. I love exploring the backyard, playing with my toys, chewing on bully sticks, crunching on an ice cube from the fridge, and curling up for a good nap. I have playful bursts of energy in the mornings and evenings, but I'm happiest relaxing nearby while my people go about their day.

I get along wonderfully with other dogs and currently live with a senior Schnauzer. I'm respectful of her space, and we love sharing toys and playing tug-of-war together. I've never shown any aggression toward people or other dogs, and I take treats as gently as can be. I even know how to sit politely for a reward!

I'm potty trained when kept on a consistent schedule, crate trained, and happily eat my meals in my kennel. I settle quietly in my crate when my foster family leaves the house and ride calmly in the car, whether I'm in a crate or relaxing in the back of an SUV.

I'm still gaining confidence with new people and can be startled by sudden movements, so I appreciate slow introductions and the chance to come to you on my own terms. Once I feel safe, I'm incredibly affectionate and loyal. I'm also continuing to build confidence on walks and am doing well with patient encouragement and positive reinforcement.

I haven't had the opportunity to meet children or cats yet, so my foster family isn't sure how I'll do with them. I may bark when unfamiliar people first come into the house, but once I realize they're friends, I settle down quickly. I've never shown any growling, snapping, or other aggressive behavior.

If you're looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will happily keep you company without needing to be in your lap, I just might be the girl for you. All I need is a little patience while I settle in, and I promise to fill your home with love, quiet companionship, and plenty of happy moments.
