Spring has Sprung”🌷🌻 and I’m ready to bloom into my best self with a family who will love me forever! My name is Luna, and I’m a 1-year-old, 40lb poodle mix with long, graceful legs and an even bigger heart. I’m the perfect mix of playful and affectionate—curious about the world, always ready for a walk or a game of tug, and happiest when I’m close to my people. My love languages? Touch, treats, and a little sweet talk—I thrive on connection and encouragement.

Each morning, I wake up in my crate with my foster family (I sleep soundly all night!), and we head out for a potty break. Then comes breakfast—yum! I’ve learned to sit and “wait” like a champ before diving into my kibble, though I might do a little happy bunny hop while I wait because I get so excited! I have a high energy level, so our days usually include a good walk (the longer the better), enrichment puzzles, chew toys, and a bit of training homework to keep my brain just as active as my body. I’m super smart and learning fast, especially when treats are involved.

During the day, I love to nap on my bed near my human while they work and go outside for regular potty breaks—A+ student here! Dinner’s at 5 PM, and I’ll definitely remind you when it’s time. I’m food-motivated, eager to learn, and have incredible potential as I grow into adulthood. Everything is still so exciting to me, and I’m working on focusing and listening, especially around new distractions.

I’ve met little humans and did great—gentle on the leash and sweet as pie. I live with other dogs and do especially well with ones close to my age and energy. I have a few senior foster siblings who prefer a slower pace, and sometimes I need reminders that they’re not always in the mood to play. I haven’t met any cats yet, so the jury’s still out there. I do love car rides and looking out the window—watching the world go by is just fascinating!

I’m housebroken, crate trained, and walk beautifully on a leash. I even sit at crosswalks like the well-mannered girl I am. I can still get a little nervous around loud noises, strangers, or bikes zooming past me, but my foster family is helping me build confidence and learn that I’m safe and loved.

I don’t shed, so I’ll need regular brushing and grooming to keep my coat looking fresh. I was a good girl at the groomer—except for those pesky back nails, but I did my best! I have a sweet, gentle soul, and I’m looking for an active, loving family who will help me continue to grow and blossom. I promise to bring joy, snuggles, and lots of tail wags to every day we spend together. 💕🐾
