Hi my name is Lucy! I’m a 2 year old Female Goldendoodle and weigh 49 lbs. I love my people, in fact, they have nicknamed me velcro dog! I get along with everyone I meet & just want to be friends.

I’m a very friendly girl who likes to explore and discover things. I also love to chase squirrels & rabbits. I don’t like to be left alone very long so I follow my foster siblings or foster mom/dad around most of the time. I love snuggles with anyone who will let me lay on them but especially my foster mom. I do have a lot of energy that I burn off mostly playing chase and tug of war with my foster fur sister.

I wake up around 7:15 am on weekdays for good morning snuggles & potty time. On the weekends I’m happy to lay quietly in my crate a little later until my foster mom/dad wakes up. After breakfast, my fur sister and I play and chase each other until it’s time for my foster mom to take my foster siblings to school. Then its time for our walk, which I love so much. The rest of the day is a lot of play and napping. In the evening, I eat dinner, play some more and cuddle with my foster siblings or foster mom until time for bed.

I currently sleep in my crate in my foster parents' bedroom at night and doing very well. I do have separation anxiety in the crate during the day when everyone leaves. I’d rather go with you. I’m so smart that I try to find different ways to escape my crate so I need a patient person that’s up to the challenge of helping & loving me through this. I’m doing better but still a work in progress.

I like to let you know when someone is at our door, so a single family home would do best! I also get excited when I see people, but I am working on my manners every day! Sometimes I try to counter surf but I’m easily redirected and eager to learn. I just need someone very patient to love and guide me through these challenges. I do like to please and really love my people. I can't wait to meet you!
