Hi my name is Lucille. I am a 1-2 yr old female poodle mix and I weigh about 15lbs. I have a beautiful non-shedding coat that is a thick and curly white with an apricot stripe down my back.

I am a very happy girl that loves people and other dogs. I love to stand on my hind legs whether it’s to greet my human friends or to check out what is going on around me. I secretly wish I was taller because I just know I’m missing out on something important. I also love to run……fast. I go as far back in my backyard as I can just so I can run super fast to the back door. Zoomies are the best too. Just stand still and watch but can’t guarantee you won’t get dizzy.

I get up every morning at 6 when my foster mom’s alarm goes off. I go outside to take care of business and then come back in for breakfast and back out to potty again before she leaves for work. When my foster dad gets up he lets me out and I run and play and get my zoomies out. When I come back in I play with toys or chew on bones while laying at his feet or while laying on the back of the couch. I’ll go in and out throughout the day, but I can’t wait for my foster mom to get home at 4:30 so I can stand on my hind legs to greet her at the door. I eat dinner around 5 and go back outside for more playtime. I start to wind down around 7 and just hang out on the back of the couch until it’s time to go to bed at around 9:30-10. I sleep through the night on the foot of the bed and only make a peep if I hear a noise.

I’ve recently changed to a sensitive stomach food because I can be a gassy girl. The change seems to have helped. I walk well on a leash and like to stay close to my people. I may be shy when I first meet you but then we will be best friends. I never really learned how to snuggle. So I am working on snuggling instead of pouncing and standing on you. I just want to be close to you so I can give kisses. I am 95% potty trained. I’m still learning to tell people I need to go out and if you get distracted and don’t see me standing there I will always use the puppy pad at the back door. I’m sure I will figure it out soon. I am crate trained though I don’t like it very much. I’ll stay in there if I need to but I will complain about it for a few minutes. I settle down and wait patiently for you to come back. I can sleep in the crate at night but I prefer to sleep with my people.
