Hi, I’m Lubbock! I’m a 9-week-old boy, most likely a mini Goldendoodle mix just like my mama. My life may have started under some tough circumstances, but those days are behind me! I’m a happy, affectionate little guy with a playful personality and so much love to give!

My foster family says I’m a total loverboy who loves being around people and other dogs! My favorite activities include wrestling with my sister, playing with my mama, and following my foster dog siblings everywhere they go. I love learning from the bigger dogs and copying everything they do! Once playtime is over, I’m more than happy to snuggle up next to them for a nap. I can be a little stubborn sometimes, but that’s just part of my puppy charm!

Right now, my days revolve around playing, sleeping, and growing! I spend my days exploring, playing with soft toys, spending time outside with my humans, and squeezing in plenty of naps and cuddles. New situations and unfamiliar noises can make me a little nervous, but having my people nearby helps me feel safe. At night, I sleep in a pen near my foster parents and am making progress toward sleeping through the night. Like any young puppy, I thrive on routine and still need lots of attention, patience, and care as I grow!

I’m already making great progress with potty training! I usually know what to do when I’m taken outside, but I still need frequent potty breaks to avoid accidents. I’m also learning words like “no” and “outside.” I haven’t started leash training yet, and while I’m comfortable in a crate and playpen, I’ve always had my sister or mama nearby. Being alone is still very new to me, and I can get upset when I can’t see my family or have someone close by. I’ll need a patient family who can help me gradually build confidence and learn that being alone for short periods is okay.

My perfect home would have another playful, gentle dog to keep me company and help show me the ropes, although it’s not required. Since I’ve never been alone, I’ll need a patient family who can help me gradually build confidence and become comfortable spending time on my own. I’d do best with someone who works from home or has a flexible schedule to accommodate frequent potty breaks, puppy training, and socialization. Children are welcome, but because I’m so tiny, they’ll need to be gentle and supervised around me.

I’m still learning about this big world, but I have so much love to give! If you’re ready for puppy kisses, plenty of playtime, sweet snuggles, and a loyal little companion, I might just be your perfect Lubbock!
