Meet Lemon, a charming 41-pound, 14-month-old female Poodle mix with a delightful personality. Her foster mom can't help but gush about her sweetness and intelligence, proudly sharing anecdotes with her book club friends. Lemon quickly mastered the art of using the doggie door within just a day or two. She has a penchant for play, especially with toys, showcasing an impressive ability to locate squeakers in record time.

Lemon is an exemplary night companion, contentedly sleeping in her crate without making a peep until morning. Her love for attention is evident as she faithfully shadows her foster mom throughout the day. However, she also appreciates her alone time, finding solace in taking naps independently. If given the chance, Lemon gladly hops into laps for affectionate kisses, demonstrating that she's never too big for some loving cuddles.

While there are stairs in her foster mom's home, Lemon has yet to venture up, she patiently waits downstairs until her mom descends. The day typically begins at 5:00 am, starting with a morning outdoor excursion for Lemon and she patiently waits for her morning walk. Lemon thoroughly enjoys the outdoor walks, gradually adapting to the gentle leader collar. Although she occasionally attempts to remove it from her nose, she is learning to savor the experience. The walks encompass a couple of miles, offering opportunities for Lemon to explore the woods, where she relishes the scents and encounters rabbits, squirrels, and people. While tempted to chase the squirrels, her mom wisely prevents her from doing so.

Lemon doesn't always consume her meal in one sitting, sometimes preferring her food to be placed in the crate for later enjoyment. As her foster mom works diligently at the desk, often engaged in phone calls, Lemon entertains herself by playing with her foster fur siblings. Demonstrating her helpful nature, Lemon assists in the kitchen and is quick to pick up anything her foster mom drops. She is such a sweet girl and cannot wait to meet her fur-ever family!

- Patience with Trainings (Car Rides)
- Would do best with another dog her size
- No children under age 6
- Calm Household
- Fenced in Yard
- Flexible Schedule
