Hi, I’m Little Lulu—but my official DRR name is Larkin!
I’m a one-year-old mini Goldendoodle girl, weighing about 20 pounds and made up of long legs, soft curls, and an even softer heart. I may be “mini,” but don’t let that fool you—I’m mighty!
I love to run and wrestle with my big foster brothers (60 and 40 pounds), but when playtime’s over, you’ll find me curled up on a pillow beside my favorite human or happily chewing a toy on the sofa.
I get the zoomies after breakfast and again in the evening, but I’m a calm and affectionate little lady the rest of the day. My mornings start with a potty break (I sometimes need a reminder to focus instead of birdwatching), then breakfast beside my foster brother. I like a little privacy when eating and need gentle encouragement to finish my meal—though I’ve been known to sneak a bite of my brother’s if no one’s watching! The vet says I should stay around 20 pounds and not have more than 2 cups of food a day.
During the day, I’m a relaxed companion—happy to nap, take walks, or play a little fetch. Dinner is around 5:30, and by 9:00, I’m ready for bed. Once I’m tucked in—usually right on your pillow—I’m down for the night. I sleep hot but always like to be touching my person.
I feel most comfortable with women and warm up slowly to men. Loud noises and rowdy play can scare me, so I do best in a calm, gentle home. I’m good with children as long as they’re quiet and kind—bonus points if they like to read, toss a ball, or share their bed with me!
I’m learning to potty outside (a playpen helps me focus) and will go to the door when I need out. I walk nicely on leash, though I sometimes get excited and hop or switch sides. I adore being carried around and going on adventures—coffee runs, patio lunches, even hair appointments! I get a little nervous on car rides, so I ride in a crate for safety, but I’ll be brave if you’re close by.
