Hi, I’m Juniper—though my friends call me Juni! I’m a one-year-old sheepadoodle with a fluffy coat, a wiggly tail, and a curious heart. At just 35 pounds, I’m on the petite side, but don’t let that fool you—I’ve got plenty of energy packed in. Life as a family dog is still new to me, and I can be shy or unsure around strangers, often choosing to hang back until I feel safe. Because of that, I’d be happiest in a calm household without kids, where patience and gentleness are part of the daily routine.

Once I know you, my goofy, playful side starts to shine. I love parading shoes around the house (don’t worry, I don’t chew them—I just think it’s fun!) and sometimes I still get into little things, because, well, I’m still a puppy. When I wake up between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m., I burst outside full of zoomies and like to play big, which means I’d do best with a confident dog sibling who won’t be bothered by my pushy style—or I could be the only dog soaking up all the attention. A fenced-in yard is a must so I can run out my sillies safely.

Inside, I stick close to my people and thrive when I’m not left alone for long stretches, so a work-from-home parent (or someone around most of the day) would make me very happy. I’m learning boundaries, like keeping four paws on the floor instead of jumping, and I need an experienced dog owner who isn’t afraid to set rules while still being loving.

Walks are something I’m still figuring out. New people and dogs can feel overwhelming, and sometimes I want to jump or bolt when I’m nervous. My foster mom uses a double leash to keep me safe while I build confidence, and with continued training and patience, I’ll get better. I am house trained, but I still need regular potty breaks or I might have an accident by the back door.

If you’re looking for a sweet, curious pup who’s a little bit of a project but worth every bit of effort, I might be your girl. With time, consistency, and love, I know I’ll grow into the most loyal and joyful companion.

- Adult-only, calm household (I like the quiet)
- Fenced-in yard
- Work-from-home or home most of the day
- Experienced, patient adopter to continue training & socialization
