Joey‘s Story

Joey is a 2-year-old, 8-pound Adoradoodle! Read what his foster has to say about him:

This little guy is like no other little pup we’ve met and has truly stolen our hearts. His new family will be so lucky to have him and he will be a great addition to any home. Joey, or JoJo for short, is a mix of just the cutest whatever, a true love bug. He is approximately two years old and weighs in at a whopping 8.7 pounds. His dark little eyes make him look sad, but the opposite is true and happy should be this guy’s middle name – he is the most affectionate dog and just wants to be loved and get belly rubs. Joey is a work in progress and is still learning how to feel secure in his surroundings. He will need a home where he can spend lots of time with his people so they can love on him and he will do well with someone home much of the day. He’s crate trained and will sleep in his crate or will curl up in bed with you. He walks well on a leash with his harness and is completely trained for potty but still working on getting out the door for other duties. He’s working on getting nourishment to gain some weight and eats like a champ. Joey is discovering how much fun toys can be and loves to play by himself or he’ll try to play with other dogs. He’ll also chase a toy for fetch but usually forgets to bring it to you to play again. Joey loves other dogs and all people and just needs a little security in sharing his people with others – he wants most of the attention. This little pup is so eager to be loved and cared for and is going to be so beautiful when his coat has had some time to grow back in. He’s such a little character and just makes us laugh. We love him so much and can’t wait to help him find his new forever family.
