Hello! My name is Jeter, but my foster family calls me Jet. I’m a 1.5-year-old double doodle with a heart full of love and a zest for fun. Whether it’s zooming around the yard or chasing after my ball, I’m always ready to play and make the most of every moment.

My favorite thing is attention. I will choose being pet over eating I love it so much. I will crawl in your lap or follow you waiting for more pets. My next favorite thing is my ball. I love to run after it and am learning to drop it so I can go again. I am super gentle when the ball is taken out of my mouth. I like water and will go right out in the rain to potty or play. I’m great about getting dried off too.

I sleep in my crate. I go to bed around 8 at night. My foster family gets up at 6 for school and I wait quietly until 6:30 when I’m let out to potty. Then I get breakfast and go in the backyard to play before getting in the crate with a special treat while the kids go to school. When my foster mom gets back I’m let out to hang around in the house and can go outside as much as I want. At 6 pm I get dinner and just before bed I get walked around outside.

I like to get up on adults for attention but I do not jump on kids. My foster family is working on teaching me to sit for getting pet. I’m doing very well at learning. I sometimes grab hands gently with my mouth when I want attention especially when I get out of the crate in the morning. I’ve learned to carry a toy around instead but sometimes I need reminded to get one. When I get the chance, I find things from the counter to chew on. Im very curious and like to take things apart. I spent most of my life as an outdoor dog so I’m learning manners and expectations for living inside and I have learned a lot in a short time.
