Hello families, my name is Jessica. I am a 3 year old, female poodle mix and weigh 55lbs now that my foster mom has me well fed and healthy.

My foster mom tells me that if there were such a thing as a perfect dog, I would be it! I get along with all other animals and am so happy and adaptable. I have never had an accident, love to snuggle, and have the most impeccable manners. I love to play fetch more than just about anything else in the WORLD! I constantly keep a ball in my mouth for safe keeping 😝. I sometimes am undecided if I want to drop the ball in order to eat a treat… it can be a very hard decision for me at times. I walk like a show dog on the leash, never pull, and always mind.

I am incredibly adaptable and flexible with my schedule. My foster mom feeds us at 5am on the days she works, and 7 on the days she is off. I am good with either time. I get dinner either at 5 or 7 pm, and again, either time works for me. I love and appreciate a walk any time during the day and of course FETCH!!!! Any time you can squeeze it in will suffice. I LOVE to sleep and cuddle in the bed but am also crate trained. I have now figured out how to use a doggie door, which is super fun for playing, but will go to the door if I need to be let out as well. I have never had an accident in the whole time I have been with my foster mom.

I am still working on overcoming my shyness and learning to trust people in general. I become very attached to my safe person and am more confident when they are in my vision. I get scared of people in dark jackets for some reason. My defense mechanism is so roll over onto my belly and not move. Other than needing a bit of patience in that matter, I am truly perfect.
