Jenny‘s Story

❤️Jenny is Available❤️

Please READ the bio and adoption requirements first to make sure you are a perfect fit BEFORE APPLYING.

Hi there! I am a 14-week-old, Female Poodle mix weighing about 10 pounds. They call me Jenny and tell me I have beautiful eyes and chocolate fur. Part of my ear is gone, but it doesn't effect my quality of life at all! It actually just adds to my beauty.

I love running around outside, chewing on toys and staying close to my people. I’m a master at jumping and climbing. I’ve taught myself how to climb over the gate and jump up on the table chairs. I get reminders of how it’s not very polite to do those things, but my foster mom assures me it’s just because I’m so smart. Being praised is my biggest motivation. I perk up when I hear my name and tilt my head side to side. I have a big heart and love everyone!

My current schedule consists of waking up bright and early around 5am. After going potty I’ll usually go back to bed until my 7:00 breakfast. I love meal time!! 😋 I like to get my day going with some zoomies and a game of chase with all my foster brothers. I absolutely love toys, so I’ll entertain myself for a while chewing on some. I’m also showing some interest in playing fetch, and I think I’ll be pretty good at it! I start asking for dinner around 4 because I hope I can get fed early - meal times are my favorite! I usually eat dinner at 5. I like to say “thanks” for making my dinner with a howl of appreciation about halfway through eating. I have a little more playtime after my post-dinner nap, and then I’m ready for bed by 9!

I love humans and dogs so much that I don’t love being in my crate - it makes me sad! I can be trusted overnight not in my crate - I’ll sleep with you at your feet or by your side and stay there all night. I know “sit,” and respond well to redirection. I’m doing really well with potty training - given regular opportunities to go every two hours or so and after I wake up from a nap.
