Hello! I’m Jax, I’m a cute 16-week-old male Sheepadoodle. I weigh 22lbs, and my foster mom says I’ll be a big boy full of sweetness. Just so you know, I do shed lightly.
I’m a very sweet yet curious puppy, and wag my tail all day long - I’m just so happy! Learning new things comes easy to me and I’m quick to catch onto new commands. I’m such a snuggle bug and love every dog and human I meet. I do fine with little kids and would enjoy a dog sibling, but it’s not a deal breaker. When redirected I listen pretty well. Training treats are some of my most favorite things ever and will really help me learn new things.
My foster family has me on a schedule that is routine for me. I go to sleep in my crate around 10 PM - it’s not my favorite but I’m working on it. I wake up early and go outside first thing to use the bathroom. I hang out and play for a while then have breakfast, then it’s back out to potty. My day involves playing, lots of naps, and frequent potty breaks.
Since I’m a puppy, I’m still perfecting potty training and manners. I do well riding in a car, but this is so new to me that I feel safe next to someone. I do great on a leash and enjoy stopping to explore this big world. I’m still working on loving my crate, but I know I’ll get there in time with your patience. Since I’m a puppy, I try and get into things around me, so I’ll need to be reminded what I can and cannot have. What can I say, I’m just a puppy!
- Stay-at-home parent(s), I need monitoring so I don’t get into anything I’m not suppose to
-Fenced yard, I need frequent potty breaks
-Active family to keep up with my puppy energy
