Hi! I’m Jameson! I’m a one-year-old, 45-pound Bernedoodle, and if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I have a BIG personality. I’m goofy, energetic, affectionate, and convinced that every person I meet is my new best friend. I’ve never met a party I didn’t want to join—or become the center of.

I’m the kind of guy who keeps my foster family laughing. I love stealing socks, licking toes, chewing on my foster brother’s tail, and zooming around the backyard like I have somewhere very important to be. I’m basically made of rubber, and I approach life with my whole body and absolutely no hesitation.

Adventure is one of my favorite things! I love hopping in the car because there’s always a chance we’re headed somewhere exciting. I’m also a surprisingly great walking buddy. I don’t pull, I keep a nice pace, and I love going on long walks and hikes with my foster dad. We recently went three miles, and I was still ready for more. At home, give me a good chew toy, lick mat, or something that makes me use my brain, and I’m a happy guy.

With other dogs, I have serious annoying-little-brother energy. Personal space? Never heard of it. I love pestering my foster brother, trying to get him to play, and roughhousing whenever I get the chance. A patient, playful dog who appreciates my goofy puppy antics could be a great match for me.

And puppy is definitely still the key word! I’m smart and very food motivated, but sometimes my excitement gets the best of me. When I’m thrilled to see my foster parents—which is pretty much always—I may jump up or get a little mouthy. I’m still learning that there are better ways to say, “I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!” I’ll need a family who is ready to keep working with me and give me the structure, boundaries, consistency, and training I need. I have so much potential; I just need people who are willing to help me channel all this enthusiasm.

I’m also still working on my potty posture. I don’t always squat quite enough when I pee, which means I sometimes accidentally get some on myself. My foster family is working with me on this, and it’s something my future family will need to continue training and reinforcing. In the meantime, I already know the routine: before I head back inside, I get a quick cleanup to keep me clean and comfortable. It’s just one more thing I’m learning as I figure out how to be the best grown-up dog I can be.

Mostly, I’m just a happy, hilarious young guy who loves people, loves adventures, and loves being right in the middle of whatever is happening. Life with me probably won’t be boring, but I promise there will be plenty of laughs, plenty of affection, and one very goofy Bernedoodle who will be thrilled to call you his family.

If you’re looking for a best friend to walk, hike, play, learn, laugh, and experience life with, I’d really love the chance to be your guy.
