Hi! My name is Ivy, I’m a 1.5-yr-old, 39lb, Female Goldendoodle.

I am a good girl with lots of energy to play. I need a family who will spend time with me, I don’t like spending time in my crate except bedtime and even then, I’d prefer to snuggle you. I love to play fetch, I’m fast! My favorite is going for runs/walks and getting lots of pets/praise while snuggling on the couch. I have so much love to give and often get excited, especially if I’ve been in my crate. I don’t bark a lot in play, but if someone comes to the door or enters the room unexpectedly, I bark.

I wake up at 6am and go potty, you must stay with me or I just wait by the door instead. I like a morning walk, but love a run with my foster dad! Then I follow my foster parents around the house & lay at their feet while they work. I just want to be where they are, like a shadow! I play with my human-foster sister after school until my evening walk and bed time. I don’t eat too much, I’m a grazer and I’m pretty picky about treats. I really like to ride in the car!

I am still working on not jumping for pets/attention and when I meet new people, but I’m learning every day that I get praise and extra love when I sit instead. I’m also working on not pulling my foster mom when we go for walks, I’ve been improving quickly! I love walks so much that sometimes when my foster family opens the door I run outside, I don’t go too far, but need to be kept safe when doors open. I do sometimes “counter surf” but am learning with a firm “OFF.”

- Work from home
- No children under age 8
- Active & Patient family willing to continue training
- Fenced yard
- Active Dog sibling large
