Ivory‘s Story

Ivory is a five-month-old, 20lbs., female Standard Poodle-

I may look like Park Avenue, but I’m just a Texas country girl at heart. I love to roll and tumble, and then prance a little later. I’m kind of the Carrie Underwood of Standard Poodles. Beauty and Brains plus a side of Sweetie pie! My foster big brothers are teaching me how to wrestle and run for joy. Look out toys! I love them all and like to trot around carrying one in my mouth. Fetch? Heck yeah! I’m in! When I’m outside, I’m at my best…running, chasing, being crazy, loving life. Don’t care that it’s Texas Polar Vortex! I am very careful walking through parking lots and like to really observe cars driving by.

Can I please, please, please have a playful dog friend? I absolutely Love to play with other dogs. Currently I am spending a lot of time with 8 and 9 year old human siblings at my foster parents. It is so much fun to run around in circles with them as well! Don’t get me wrong, I definitely have my gentle quiet side too. I would never be mouthy or rough with people. In fact, in my previous life I had an 18-month-old toddler at my house. Always happy to meet new people too. Barking is not really my thing, unless I’m feeling protective.

Did I mention that I am as soft as a bunny? My white coat is gorgeous! By the way, I make the most adorable squeaking noise when I yawn. Sleeping in my crate at night, or short term during the day is not a problem for me. Rocking this potty-training thing too. Honestly…What’s not to love?? Should I reveal that I like to lick toes/feet? TMI? OK, forget I mentioned it.

Ivory is fully vaccinated, HW-, sterilized and microchipped.
