Hi, I’m Isle — a 2–3-year-old poodle mix with a soft coat, gentle eyes, and a heart that’s finally ready to rest. I recently wrapped up mama duty to my sweet Weather Pups, and now it’s my turn to find a forever home where I can be the one getting all the snuggles. 💛

I’m what you might call a professional cuddler. If there’s a lap, I’m in it. A couch? I’m snuggled next to you. A bed? Hope you don’t mind sharing the covers. I bond hard and fast to my people and want nothing more than to be your little shadow — quietly loyal, endlessly affectionate, and always close by. I love belly rubs, soft blankets, and peaceful days spent lounging with my favorite human. I’m also very expressive and will give you the sweetest looks (and maybe a gentle paw tap) when I need some extra love.

I’ve got an old soul and a soft spirit, but I can be a little sensitive. I’m still figuring out how to share attention, and sometimes I get jealous when other dogs are around — especially if I feel left out. I might get a little snappy, but I always feel bad afterward. I’m not trying to be difficult; I just really, really love having someone all to myself. I could potentially live with another calm, easygoing dog who doesn’t mind my quirks — as long as we vibe well and there's enough love (and lap space!) to go around. A quiet, calm home with a work-from-home parent would help me feel secure, and I’d be the happiest little sidekick you could ask for.

I don’t need wild adventures or busy dog parks — just a solid, 5+ foot fenced yard where I can safely explore and stretch my legs, and a few short walks to get my sniff on. I’m great on a leash with a harness and just about fully potty trained — I do best when someone’s around to keep me on a schedule. My day starts around 7 or 8 a.m. with a potty break (I prefer a buddy outside!), followed by breakfast, a little playtime, naps, and lots of snuggle breaks throughout the day.

Because loud noises and quick movements can startle me, I’d be most comfortable in a home with older, dog-savvy kids (10+) who understand my gentle nature. I’m still building confidence and learning that I don’t need to compete for affection anymore. What I need most is someone patient, kind, and ready to show me what it means to be truly safe and loved.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Children age 10 or older
- Calm household environment
- Fenced-in yard (must be at least 5 ft tall and solid)
- Work-from-home parent or someone home most of the day
- Patience for continued training and confidence building
