Hi, I'm Indigo, but my foster family usually calls me Indy! I'm a 4-year-old Poodle mix with a happy heart and an even happier tail. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who loves to be close to their people, I just might be your girl. I greet everyone like we've known each other forever, and once you earn my trust, I'll happily be your little shadow.

One of my favorite things in the whole world is my collection of stuffed "babies." I carry them around so proudly, cuddle with them during naps, and make sure they're never too far away. When I'm not doting on my toys, you'll usually find me curled up on the couch soaking up all the snuggles I can get. I'm also a pretty polite houseguest. I'm potty trained, crate trained, and I walk beautifully on a leash. The only thing that can distract me is a squirrel, but I haven't managed to catch one yet!

My days are full of simple joys. I wake up with my family, enjoy breakfast and a nice morning walk, then spend the day relaxing while keeping watch over the yard. In the evenings, I love a game of fetch to burn off a little energy before settling in for TV time and heading to my crate for the night.

I get along well with other dogs after a proper introduction and enjoy having canine friends around. I've done great with teens and adults, but since I haven't been around young children, I'd do best in a home without little ones. Cats are still an unknown for me.

I can get a little anxious at bedtime if I'm too far away from my people, so I sleep best when my crate is in or near your bedroom. I also have a pretty impressive bark when I think something needs your attention, which means a home without shared walls would be the best fit for me.
