Hope‘s Story

Hello everyone, my name is Hope, a 13-pound, 6-month old female Doodle overflowing with love. Despite having one special eye, I've embraced the name Hope, thanks to the care of my Doodle Rock Rescue foster. I adore everyone, from dogs big to small, and I'm always up for playtime and snuggles.

My daily routine begins around 6 am when I go out, returning to bed until 7:30 for breakfast and playtime. I'm a fan of games like chase, keep away, and tug with my foster siblings. Around noon, we take a nap, followed by more play or affection with my humans. At 3, I enjoy a car ride to pick up kids from school, relishing the ride and the company of kids. Dinner is at 5, followed by a short rest. After my food settles, it's back outside to watch for squirrels and play until dark. I wind down around 8, going outside briefly before settling on the couch for ample love. At 9, we go out one last time before bedtime, where I peacefully sleep with my humans.

I'm progressing well with housetraining, adapting to a schedule. I signal when I need to go out by scratching at the door. I've mastered commands like "sit" during mealtime and for treats. Sometimes my excitement leads me to spin or stand on my hind legs. Eager to please, I learn quickly. While I haven't tried walking on a leash, I'm a fast learner and would gladly accompany you.

I can't wait to find my forever family.
