Hi, I'm Hope! I'm a 3-year-old Mini Labradoodle weighing in at 24lbs.

Some would describe me as slow to warm up, but I will quickly find comfort in your lap or by your side. My foster family has introduced me all kinds and I handled myself with grace and melted a few hearts along the way! The only time I ever bark is when another dog tries to bully me or when I need to go to the bathroom but I'm in my kennel.

I've quickly learned a few very simple commands: I will wait by the door before coming in from potty breaks and I'm good at going into my kennel. I get very excited for going on walks, but I'm very patient as my leash is latched on and off. When I'm getting my baths, I am stiff as a plank, so I ask that you be extra gentle and patient.

The toughest thing for me has been my diet. In mid-February, I couldn't chew solid foods well and little by little with the help of chicken stock I like my kibble. I do eat once a day to help my belly and no treats. Also, while I'm calm during car-rides, long car rides make me sick so make sure you bring a towel!

I get up at 7am, go for a potty break and start my day, I wander back in and out of my kennel throughout the day at my leisure. I go outside again to stretch my legs around 3pm, I have dinner around 6pm, go out for one last potty break around 9pm, and then settle back in my kennel for bed.

I'm still working on leash excitement. The longest I walk without getting too tired is 1 mile. I haven't mastered chew toys; I mostly use them as pillows and for snuggles. I really like to be on your lap, but need help getting up!
