🐾 Hi, I’m Gus (but my fancy name is Henson!) 🐾
I’m a 2-year-old poodle mix, and I weigh about 55 pounds of pure fluff, fun, and LOVE! My foster family calls me Gus (and sometimes “Uza gud boooooyyy!”), and I think that name suits me just fine—because I am a very good boy.

I’m what you might call a lover, not a fighter. I loooove cuddles, snuggles, and being close to my humans. I haven’t had a single accident in the house (house-trained pro over here!) and I adore toys, mealtimes, and romping around with the other doodles at my foster home. Fetch is one of my favorite games, and honestly? I don’t think there’s anything I don’t like. I’m just a happy, tail-wagging kinda guy.

Here’s how my days go: I wake up, head straight outside to do my business (I’m a gentleman like that), and then it’s time for… BREAKFAST! I sit and wait politely (even though I want to dive in headfirst), and once I eat, it’s playtime in the yard with my doodle girlfriends and the little pups too. After that? Nap city. I check in with my foster dad when I need another potty break, and when dinner rolls around, well, let’s just say I’m equally enthusiastic about round two! After dinner we usually play some more, and at bedtime I’ll hop on the bed to warm it up for you, then curl up next to you on the floor to keep watch through the night.

I’m still working on not jumping when I’m super excited you’re home—I just love you so much I forget my manners sometimes. I’m good with other dogs (big and small), I like kids (though I might accidentally bump into tiny ones), and I haven’t met a cat yet, but I’m open-minded. I don’t shed, I walk great on a leash, I know basic commands, and I do just fine when you leave the house—I know you’ll come back for me.

So… whaddya think? Could you be my forever family? I’ve got so much love to give, and I promise to be the bestest, sweetest, goofiest, most loyal boy you’ve ever met. Let’s do life together!

- Woould prefer have another dog sibling
- Children 9 or older (Still learning my size!)
- Active family
- Fenced in Yard
- Flexible Schedule
