Hank is an 8-month-old Male Goldendoodle who currently weighs 40 pounds and is still growing!

Hank is a lovable, energetic bundle of joy. He's incredibly sweet with children, dogs and everyone he meets. Hank is both potty trained and crate trained. His crate is his safe space; when he hearss "kennel up," he goes right in to his space. Though he can sometimes get a bit too excited, it's only because he's still a puppy. With patience and plenty of long walks or hikes, Hank will thrive. He absolutely loves water and would make a fantastic lake dog or enjoy a home with a pool, which helps him burn off all that energy.

For an 8-month-old dog like Hank, a structured daily schedule is important for his development and well-being. We start the day with a long morning walk and potty break around 7 AM, followed by breakfast. Around noon, my foster mom takes me on a shorter walk, followed by some quiet time or crate rest. In the afternoon, my foster mom includes some water play, which Hank loves, to help him burn off energy and stay cool. In the evening, we provide another walk, dinner, and some additional playtime. We finish the day with a final potty break before bedtime around 9 PM, ensuring he feels secure and comfortable for the night. This routine helps Hank stay happy and well-occupied.

I'm still working on not chewing on things I'm not supposed to, but I have plenty of toys to keep me busy. Sometimes, I eat and drink too fast, which can make me feel sick and cause me to throw up. My foster family is helping me learn to pace myself during meals. I'm also in training to learn commands like sit, stay, and down. With a little patience and guidance, I'm getting better every day!
