My name is Hally, and I am a 2 year old, female, Schnauzer Poodle Mix, who weighs 47 pounds. I cannot wait to find my forever family!
I am very affectionate and have never met a stranger who I don't like. I love getting pets and belly rubs. I am a great walker on a leash and like to stay close to my foster while taking a good sniff and look at my surroundings. I smile the whole time I’m outside and am more than happy asking everyone I meet for pets. I'm currently learning to not say ”hi” to every dog and person that passes by on a walk.
I prance when I’m happy, sit for treats, and love hugs. I love my salmon treats and some shredded cheese on special occasions.
My day starts with going outside in the sun and eating breakfast. I lounge and take little walks around the neighborhood square. I love to eat and drink lots of water after being in the heat; at which point I shake off the sun and water I drank.
I am currently heart worm positive and taking daily medication between treatment shots. I was so brave during my first shot and only have two back to back shots left on August 24th & 25th. This makes me tired so I’m recently very sleepy.
The ideal family for me would have someone home most of the time. I love to be right by my foster’s side or at least within view like a good velcro dog. When I get bursts of energy, I like to play and walk around. A larger apartment would suffice but I would love some grass to roll around in. Sometimes I get nervous in a new setting but all I need is a little encouragement that everything’s ok and I’m on board!
