Hi there! My name is Gusty, but around here I go by Cooper—or Coopie Cakes, Coop, Coopie… I’ve earned a lot of silly nicknames, and I wear them all with pride. I’m a 1-year-old doodle mix, tipping the scales at about 70 pounds, with a heart just as big as my paws.

To put it simply: I love to be loved. Personal space? Never heard of it! I’m happiest when I’m close—soaking up pets, belly rubs, and being part of whatever’s going on. I love romping around with my foster dog brothers, and I’m pretty great at entertaining myself with a good toy (bonus points if it squeaks!). Plus I’ve got fetch on lockdown!

I’m a social, easygoing guy who enjoys a slow evening stroll where I can sniff every leaf and mailbox along the way. I’m not in any rush—unless I’m chasing zoomies in the yard. Then, it’s full speed ahead! After a good morning of play, I love to nap belly-up, soaking in the vibes.

My routine is pretty solid: I’m up with the sun (around 6 a.m.), ready to play, followed by breakfast and a cozy nap. Afternoons are for sunshine and zoomies, dinner hits around 5:30, and I love a calming walk around 7. By 9:30, I’m snuggled up and ready for bed—either in it or right beside it.

I can be home alone and I’d do even better with a canine buddy around keeping me company. I walk politely on leash unless a cat crosses my path (they’re so tempting!), and while I usually remember not to jump, sometimes I can’t resist a big, goofy paw boop when I’m excited.
