Hi there, my name is Goose Bug! I’m a 9-month-old male Cavapoo with a happy personality, lots of playful puppy energy, and so much love to give. I’m a sweet, good-natured boy looking for an active family who is ready to enjoy all the fun that comes with having a young pup!

I’m a very happy and playful guy who loves squeaky toys, chew toys, running around, and especially playing with other dogs. I’m friendly, affectionate, and an all-around good boy who loves being part of whatever my people are doing. I’ve been playful and friendly with the children I’ve met, but I’m not currently fostered in a home with kids. Since I’m still a young, energetic puppy and haven’t had the opportunity to live with children full-time, a home with kids ages 8 and older will help set both me and my future family up for success. Once I’ve gotten my puppy energy out, I’m perfectly happy relaxing near my people and keeping them company.

My routine is pretty easy. I usually wake up around 6 or 7 in the morning and wait patiently in my crate until it’s time to start the day. Once I’m out, I love running around the yard, eating breakfast, and getting in some morning zoomies before taking care of business. After that, I’m content to settle down near my human while they work. I really enjoy having my people nearby, so a work-from-home parent or someone with a flexible schedule would be a great fit for me.

For only 9 months old, I already have a great start on my training! I’m potty trained and crate trained, and I know sit, down, and stay. I’m still practicing my leash skills and learning to feel more confident when my people aren’t nearby. Like any young pup, I’m still learning and growing, so I’d love a family who will continue giving me structure, consistency, and plenty of opportunities to practice everything I’m learning.

My ideal home will have an active family, children ages 8 or older, and someone who works from home or has a flexible schedule. A fenced-in yard is preferred so I have plenty of space to safely run, play, and get those puppy zoomies out. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful young pup who loves his people and is ready to keep learning, I might just be your Goose!

- Patience and commitment to continued puppy training
