Gio‘s Story

❤️Gio is Available❤️

Please READ the bio and adoption requirements first to make sure you are a perfect fit BEFORE APPLYING.

Hi, my name is Gio! I’m a 6 month old puppy with a huge personality, a joyful hop, and absolutely no idea that I’m any different—or how small I actually am. I approach life with confidence, curiosity, and a whole lot of enthusiasm.

I’m a lover boy with a big, lively presence and a little Napoleon complex—I truly believe I can take on the world. I love cuddling, sitting in your lap, and curling up on your legs at night just as much as I love being outside running around or sunbathing. Between my big, expressive eyes and my adorable little underbite, my face tends to win people over pretty quickly. I move with a charming bunny hop that doesn’t slow me down at all, and when it’s time to play, I’m fully committed. I absolutely adore food and will enthusiastically gobble up just about anything you put in front of me. I’m also known to have a weakness for shoes and socks if they’re left unattended. Toys I can shake are a favorite, and Benebones are my chew of choice.

I also take my job as home protector very seriously. I may be small, but I make sure the outside world knows I’m on duty and keeping watch. Inside the home, I’m calm and content as long as I’m near my people—I thrive on connection and being included in daily life. I’m crate trained, but if I can see you, I may bark because I’d much rather be part of the action than behind a door.

Due to a former broken pelvis, I have limited control of my sphincter muscles and may dribble urine when I’m very excited, so I need a little extra support in that area. Belly bands and diapers have worked extremely well for me and make this very manageable day-to-day. My mobility looks a bit different, but it doesn’t cause me pain and doesn’t limit my ability to run, play, or enjoy life. My future family should be comfortable continuing this care and understanding that occasional accidents can happen.

I don’t know I’m little, I don’t know I’m different—I just know I’m meant to be yours.
