Hi, I’m Fred, but you can call me Friendly Fred or Freddy Mac! I’m a 2-year-old, 45 lb poodle mix, and I’ve spent the last year living the stray life at a construction site, but now I’m ready for a fresh start in a warm, loving home where I can be pampered and spoiled! Let me tell you a little about myself:

I’m a total cuddle bug who loves to snuggle up and relax, but don’t let that fool you—I also get super excited for walks and outdoor adventures! I’m potty trained, crate trained, and I even know how to sit on command. I may have a few quirky traits, but I’m never aggressive! I tend to be a bit vocal when meeting new people because I’ve got lots to say (I’m just working on my social skills), but don’t worry, my tail is always wagging, even if my bark is loud. With time, I’ll get more comfortable and show you my true, laid-back side.

I love to start and end my day with a nice walk to do my business and get some energy out. I wake up around 7 am, ready to take on the day, and I’d make the perfect walking buddy to get those steps in together. If you need motivation to stay active, I’m your guy!

I’m still getting used to new people, but I know I’ll warm up to you with patience and love. I’m also working on not counter surfing—my stray days taught me to scrounge around for food, but I’m a quick learner and I know I can kick that habit! If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s ready to share all the cuddles and adventures, I’d love to meet you!
