Fraya‘s Story

❤️Fraya is Available❤️

Please READ the bio and adoption requirements first to make sure you are a perfect fit BEFORE APPLYING.

My name is Fraya, but my friends also call me Bitzi. I’m an eight-month-old girl weighing about 16 pounds, and I’m packed full of playful, girly fun. I recently recovered from a fractured hind leg, but you’d never know it now—it certainly didn’t slow me down. These days I’m busy learning all kinds of new things, including walking on a leash. In fact, I can already walk two whole miles, which I think is pretty impressive for a young pup like me.

I’m a social butterfly who loves people, toys, and treats in equal measure. I especially adore kids and have a great time with my foster mom’s grandchildren, who are five and three. I also love other dogs and spend my days playing outside with my foster brother. Between games of chase, keeping an eye on the birds, and taking the occasional nap, I stay pretty busy. Car rides are another one of my favorite adventures—I’m always happy to hop in and see where we’re going.

My day usually starts early because I wake up ready to go. I like to kick things off with a nice walk before breakfast to stretch my legs and start the day right. During the day, you’ll find me playing, exploring the yard, and squeezing in a few naps so I’m ready for the next round of fun. By evening, I’m ready to slow things down a little. An evening walk or some outside time helps me wind down, and then my favorite place is curled up on someone’s lap for cuddles while the day comes to a close.

I recently had my first trip to the groomer, and she said I was a very good girl—although I did prefer to lay down while she worked on making me look extra pretty. I’ve always lived in a home with other dogs, so I’m very comfortable having canine friends around. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure what I’d think of them.

Since I’m still a puppy, I’m also still learning about potty training. My broken leg and my spay surgery slowed that process down a little, but I’m making good progress. I usually wake up around midnight for a quick potty break and then sleep again until about 6 a.m., when it’s time to head out for our morning walk and start the day.

I’m a happy, playful girl who loves to stay active, but I’m just as happy snuggled up with my people at the end of the day. With a little patience as I keep learning my puppy manners, I’ll be the sweetest, most fun companion you could ask for.
