Hi! I’m Fig — your future best friend!

I’m about 2 years old, 15 pounds, and packed full of poodle-y goodness. I may be small, but I’ve got a BIG personality and plenty of puppy energy! I love to run, zoom around, play, and explore everything happening around me — life is just so exciting.

A little about me: I LOVE other dogs… seriously, all of them. I also think every human I meet is a new best friend. I’m curious, goofy, and sometimes a little mischievous. I’m still learning what counts as a toy and what definitely does not (sorry about the shoes!). I also like to hide toys in the sofa cushions because treasure hunting is one of my favorite hobbies.

Life with my foster mom is pretty great. I start my day with breakfast (yum!), and if the big dogs leave their food unattended, I’m happy to help clean it up. After breakfast, I go potty outside like a good boy, play with my foster sister, and then recharge with a nap — because being adorable is exhausting. At night, I settle in nicely, and once everyone is asleep, I’ll quietly scoot closer for snuggles.

I’m still working on basic commands, but I’ve already learned to go into my crate when asked — especially because treats happen in there! I’m also learning how to read other dogs’ signals when they say, “Hey buddy, let’s chill.” I’m getting better at giving space and being respectful, even though sometimes I just get so excited to play. I’m also working on understanding that play-biting humans isn’t nearly as fun for them as it is for me.

Basically, I love everyone — dogs and people alike. If you’re looking for a happy little sidekick to join you on walks, patio outings, errands, or couch snuggles, I’m your guy!

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
• A family who likes to play and be active
• No children under 6 I’m still a little guy myself and too active for them.
• People who help me learn good manners
• Someone who understands boundaries (I actually like structure!)
• Maybe a dog friend — but I’m also happy soaking up love solo
• No Cats! I want to play and they don’t for some reason.

Fig is fully vaccinated, HW-, sterilized and microchipped.
