Hi, I’m Elmo, can I be your friend? They tell me I am a Cavapoo but I think I look like a Cavalier…either way I am 100% cute! I’m about 8 years old and just a little guy at @14 lbs…perfect size for your lap if I do say so myself.

Did I tell you I’m a happy guy? I love every human & dog I’ve met so far & I look forward to meeting you too! I am truly the sweetest boy and I just want to please you. I am adorable and my puppy dog eyes will make you fall in love! I’m learning how to “dog” and think I’m pretty good at it…I play in the yard and chase my fosters sisters even though they are much bigger than me. I’m not used to having toys but I’m figuring it out! I like to find a stuffy and carry it around. Sometimes I test out my big boy voice and talk to the neighbors or just the birds, but I’m usually pretty quiet. I will politely bark to remind you to feed me. I like to keep a schedule 😂

I’m a very good boy!I sleep through the night in my bed & am ready for food & pets from the moment I wake up. I go outside first thing to do my business, then have breakfast, some belly rubs (a personal favorite) maybe a tiny zoomie and then maybe a nap. Did I tell you how much I love food? Sometimes I even stand on just my back 2 feet because I’m so excited. I am happiest with people & dogs, just napping nearby or getting a lap cuddle if I can. I pretty much do this again for lunch and dinner. My foster sisters have taught me how to get a treat from the human before bed & this is one of my new favorite things.

I had a pretty rough start in life but you would never know it since I’m the mayor of happytown! I did have some teeth removed which just adds to my charm but also means I need soft/wet food vs kibble. I do great at pooping outside but still need reminders to pee outside. I correct really well and quite easily so I’ll get this figured out in no time. My foster home has a dog door and I’m learning that I can let myself in and out. I’m a pretty smart guy!
