Hi! My name is Dusty! I’m a 2-year-old, 20-pound male Schnoodle! I have the cutest ears, freckles, and I love to strut my stuff! I shed very little with a low maintenance coat.

It took me awhile to come out of my scared shell from my past, but now I’m so happy! I discovered what it’s like to be loved and in return, I give lots of love back! I’m very sweet and do great with dogs and kids of all sizes and ages! I'm still working on my confidence, and can be shy and submissive at times. I’m gaining confidence every day and so eager to learn new things! I like snuggling, belly rubs, and being near my people.

My normal day is easy since I stay quietly in my kennel until let out about 6 am. I wiggle and dance around to show you my happiness to quickly do my business. When I come back in, I can’t wait to eat.  During the day I like to be busy by exploring or playing outside. Of course, between all that I crave your attention too. At bedtime I sleep through the night in my crate no problem.

When left alone I go in my kennel for few hours and don’t mind it. I do have a little bit of separation anxiety but I’m getting better - having a dog sibling helps. I know my basic commands and I’m also potty trained! I do beg for food so will need more help on this. I’m good on a leash, but can get scared of new things or people. I love playing in the yard, but I must have a VERY secure fence (no small gaps). I'm an escape artist! I'm also known to wiggle out of my collar/harness, so my family must keep me on a well-fitted harness at all times!

Here’s what I’m looking for:
- Stay at home parent(s) 
- Active family, kids are a plus (any age) 
- Active young/playful dog sibling(s) preferred (cats ok!)
- Yard with a VERY secure fence (NO small gaps)
