Dumbledore‘s Story

🐾 Hi there, I'm Dumbledore! 🐾

I'm a 11-month-old male Sheepadoodle, weighing in at 50lbs, and growing. I'm on a mission to find my forever home. 💔

Here's my story: I have a significant Grade 5 heart murmur due to possible dilated cardiomyopathy and surgery isn’t an option. Not to worry, Doodle Rock Rescue has got my back! They'll cover all my medical costs if I can stay in their program. This is a foster-to-love-for-life option, and I promise to bring lots of joy to your home. 🏠

A bit about me:
I’m a playful puppy with a curious spirit! 🐶
I love exploring, running in the backyard, and I'm starting to find my voice. 🗣️
Food motivates me, and I get super excited at mealtime. 🍲
I’m calm during car rides, haircuts, and vet visits. 🚗✂️🐾
Water sprinklers are my favorite! 💦

My daily routine:
I wake up when you do, then go outside to do my business, and have breakfast. I might play for a bit with my toys or take a nap after. I nap a lot and take it easy cause of my heart condition. I can only walk a mile at a time, things in moderation are best for me. My favorite is playing with others dogs whenever possible. I go out for a couple of potty breaks during the day to make sure I don’t have any accidents. Dinner is at 5 PM, and I love playing and napping after meals. I go out around 8 PM and one last time before bed at 10 PM.

Training
Crate training is going well; I like a blanket over the crate for less distractions.

Leash training has been a challenge since it has gotten so hot. I love taking walks around the neighborhood and meeting people and other dogs. A mile is my limit cause of my heart condition. Squirrels!! I'm still a puppy and get very excited! 🌟

Dumbledore has received age appropriate shots and microchip. HW-. Sterilization to be completed at 6 months and covered by DRR
