Hi there! My name is Duke, and I’m a 4-year-old, 80-pound male Sheepadoodle—a mountain of love, if I do say so myself!

I don’t mean to brag (okay, maybe a little), but my foster parents say I might just be the easiest dog they’ve ever fostered. I’m super chill and happy to lounge around all day. I love gently pawing or nuzzling for pets, but I never overdo it—just enough to let you know I’m here and ready for love. Crates? Haven’t needed one in ages! I sleep in the bedroom, and even when my humans wake up, I’m content to keep snoozing.

My mornings start slow—I’m in no rush to leave my cozy spot by the bed. Once up, I patrol the yard for any overnight squirrel invasions before breakfast. I’m a flexible eater: sometimes I eat right away, sometimes I graze. During the day, I’m the perfect work-from-home buddy—quiet and well-mannered, with the occasional nuzzle for some pets and belly rubs. Evenings are for dinner, a bit of yard time, and when I hear “bedtime,” I’m the first one in the bedroom—I just love it!

I’m a big boy with an even bigger heart. I do get excited sometimes and might jump, but I’m working on it. My sheepdog instincts can kick in around little humans, so while I’m sweet as can be, I’m best suited for a home without small kids. If you’re looking for a gentle, laid-back buddy to fill your home with love, I’m your guy! 🐾

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Slow introductions to other dogs; would also thrive as an only dog
- No children under the age of 10 (I’m still learning my own size!)
- Calm household environment
- Must have a fenced-in yard
