HI! My name is Drake, but at my foster home I go by Remy! I’m the most handsome 65 lb, 3-4 yr old Poodle mix boy out there & I have quite the story!! I was found underweight with my coat overgrown & matted, but something in my dazzling brown eyes told my foster mom I was a diamond in the “ruff” 💎 🐩!

I’ve put on lots of healthy weight – Everywhere I go, I get told how beautiful my curls are and what a sweet boy I am! I love carrying around my plushies 🧸 & would LOVE to have a pet sibling (and maybe some older human ones!) to share them with…my foster mom thinks this has really helped me be a good boy when she leaves to run errands. Be prepared for pillows on the floor when you get back though, I’m quite the acrobat! 🤸🏽

Some of my daily rituals involve following around my 🐈‍⬛ sis, forcing my 🐩 sis to play tug of war or wrestle around, cuddling up to my foster mom…or snoozing on the couch 💤. When I’m not napping, I love spending time inside & outside with my family…I do a happy dance when I see my leash since that means it’s time to take our daily walks to the park (I’m good on a leash save for the occasional tug to go say hi to some bushes 🌲 💦 😉)! I have access to dry food always since I’m not an overeater, for dinner I get some yummy wet food mixed in which is a FAVORITE part of my night… I’ll even sit & wait for you to tell me “okay” so I can chow down!

I’m house-trained, frequent potty breaks during the day are a plus since I drink LOTS of water. I sleep in my crate with the gate open & I love a good snuggle if you invite me in bed ☺️. I sleep wonderfully through the night & love being near my people as much as possible! My foster mom works from home so I lounge nearby for the occasional head scratch or belly rub.
I’m a very smart boy & have already learned “sit”, “shake”, and “lay down”! We’re working on “here” when I’m distracted, but my family thinks I’ll pick it up pretty fast with lots of repetition & treats! I love being goofy & running around in my yard with my fur-siblings while my mom keeps a watchful eye.

My foster mom says anyone would be lucky to have me, she loves me to pieces and knows my perfect forever family is going to also!

Adoption Requirements:
- Another dog or cat sibling preferred (preferably not an alpha or dominant male)
- No children under the age of 6 (due to playful jumping)
- An active family with a flexible schedule is essential
- A fenced yard is required
- Ideally, a work-from-home parent or someone with a flexible work routine
