Hi, I’m Diego! A 2-year old, 35lb, non-shedding, super-cuddly, laid back dude.

I didn’t have the best start in life, but after my freedom ride from the Valley, I’m learning to enjoy the finer things in life and give the most gentle, sweet hugs to let you know how much I appreciate them! I am naturally a calm and quiet boy. It takes me a minute to feel safe and secure, but with encouragement and patience I catch on so quickly. Before my heart worm treatments, I enjoyed walks in the neighborhood. I’m so good on a leash and also in the car! I’m on the injured reserve list for a few more weeks, but it’s ok because I’m also so content to snuggle all day. I’ve been told I give the best hugs and snuggles around with the softest fur. I love to be brushed so much it just soothes me right to sleep.

Because I was so sick when I came in, I’ve just been taking it easy and learning about love. My foster mom works from home and I can go out the dog door whenever I need to potty or want to sun bathe. I like my foster siblings because they’re laid back like me.

I don't like crates. I can sleep with you in your bed or wherever else you’d like. I’m a super good boy if left out around the house while you run errands.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have another dog sibling, prefer lower energy.
- No children under age 14
- Quiet family
- Fenced in yard
- Work from home (or Part Time At Home) Parent
