Hi there! My name is Darcy, but my foster dad calls me Sweet Girl—and I think it suits me perfectly. I’m a 3-year-old poodle mix with endless energy and an even bigger heart. Zoomies are my love language, and I could run, wrestle, and play all day if you let me. I’m happiest in a home where playtime is a big part of the daily routine, especially with a dog sibling who can match my energy. Brain games, puzzle toys, and new adventures keep me sharp and engaged, because I’m as smart as I am active.

At night, I’m a total angel. I settle in and sleep soundly until my foster dad wakes me up around 6 or 7 AM for breakfast, potty time, and some morning fun. My afternoons are a mix of toy time, naps, and play sessions with my foster brother. After dinner, I love another round of outside play or a walk to help me wind down before bedtime. Having an active family who can give me outlets for all my energy will help me shine.

Sometimes I get a little over-excited—especially when I come out of my crate, run outside, or greet my people. I might jump or play-mouth when I’m bursting with joy, but I’m learning every day and just need a family with the patience to keep guiding me. Walks are getting better too, and with consistency I’ll only keep improving. I really do aim to please—I just need someone who sees my potential and is ready to help me keep polishing up.

Because I have so much zest for life, I’ll do best with an active family who has a flexible schedule, a fenced yard for safe play, and no children under 12. Most importantly, I’ll need a high-energy dog sibling to wrestle with and help me thrive. With the right family, I promise to bring endless love, laughter, and joy into your days.
