Hi, I’m Dallas! I’m a 2-year-old, 46-pound doodle girl with a sweet heart, a playful spirit, and so much love to give. The world is still a little new to me, so I can be shy when we first meet, but once I trust you, I transform into a fun-loving, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be near my people. I love curling up on the couch with a toy, playing tug-of-war, chasing tennis balls, and zooming around the yard with my foster dog brother. My foster family says I’m incredibly eager to please, and every day I grow a little more confident as I learn that mailboxes, strollers, buses, and other scary things aren’t so scary after all.

I’m a medium-energy girl who enjoys a nice morning walk, outdoor playtime, and then relaxing with my family in the evenings. I eat breakfast around 7:30 a.m. and dinner around 6:00 p.m., enjoy spending time outside throughout the day, and would love a home with a fenced yard where I can safely explore and play. A doggie door would be a bonus! Once the sun goes down, I’m happiest hanging out with my family and soaking up all the love and attention I can get.

I’m crate trained, learning my basic commands, and doing well with leash walking. I’m also working on overcoming some resource-guarding behaviors and learning that food and water will always be available to me. Because I’m still building confidence and learning how to navigate the world, I’ll need a patient family that can continue my training and help me grow. I do have some anxiety around new people, places, and experiences, but with time, encouragement, and consistency, I continue to make wonderful progress.

I adore children, but because I get so excited, I'd do best with kids 10 and older who can handle my enthusiastic greetings. I'm not a fit for homes with cats. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, affectionate companion and are willing to help me continue building confidence, I promise I'll reward you with endless love, laughs, and cuddles.
