Hi, my name is Cuddles. I’m a 3.5-year-old female Poodle mix weighing 52 pounds, with a soft, wavy-to-curly coat in shades of dark and light grey—people say I look just as sweet as I am.

I’m a gentle soul who's still learning that the world is a safe place. I can be a little shy at first, especially when someone new approaches quickly—I may walk away, but if you speak to me kindly, I’ll come right back with a wagging tail. I’ve come such a long way in foster care, and every day I grow more confident. My foster parents are giving me the time and space I need, and it's helping me blossom.

I live with four dog siblings and a cat, and I get along beautifully with all of them. I love hanging out in the yard with my foster family, keeping busy with toys, chasing balls, and helping with squirrel patrol duties. I’m laid back by nature, and during the day, I’m perfectly content just being near my people and soaking in the calm.

My typical day starts around 7:00–8:00 am with a quick trip outside, followed by breakfast and some morning exercise. I have great house manners—I'm fully housebroken and even trained to use a doggie door. Dinner is usually around 5:00–6:00 pm, with one last trip outside before bedtime. At night, I sleep soundly on a dog bed next to my foster parents. I’m good in a crate too, but I’ve earned the privilege of sleeping out because I’m so well-behaved.

I’m still learning basic commands and building my comfort with eye contact and leash walking, but I’m trying hard and making progress every day. I’ve started wagging my tail more often, and I’m beginning to come when called—especially when I know I’m safe and loved.

If you’re a patient, gentle person who can give me the time and love I need to continue growing, I promise I’ll reward you with quiet loyalty, soft cuddles, and the sweetest kind of companionship. I may take a little time to warm up, but once I do, I’ll be your faithful friend for life.
