Hi! My name is Crosby, and I’m a year old male poodle mix with a heart of gold. I currently weigh 65 pounds and still have a little room to grow.

I’m a funny, goofy, floppy guy who always seems to be smiling. I love playing fetch, chewing on my favorite toys, digging through my toy basket, and curling up in a cozy bed, especially those round donut beds. While I enjoy my kibble, I love my people even more. My favorite thing in the world is loving and being loved.

I’m also a pretty big foodie! My foster family spoils me with hypo allergenic kibble, bananas, peanut butter and pumpkin puree. I have a bit of tummy issues with chicken and beef. Sometimes I get so excited about meals that I eat too quickly, so my slow feeder bowl helps me remember to take my time.

I’ve become very good at letting my humans know when I need to go outside, and I enjoy spending time running around with my family and going for afternoon walks. There are just so many wonderful smells to investigate!

Like any young pup, I’m still working on a few things. When I get excited, I sometimes jump up because I just can’t contain my happiness, but I respond well to redirection and am happy to sit politely for attention. I’m also learning that kitchen counters are not snack bars and that walks are more enjoyable when I stay focused instead of following every interesting scent. I get a bit nervous being away from my humans and can feel anxious in my crate. I'm getting alot braver but will need a family to be patient with me!

I adore kids and love being part of the family, but because I’m a big, enthusiastic puppy who can get carried away with excitement, I may be a little too much for very small children. Older kids who can appreciate my playful personality would be wonderful companions for me.
