My name is Crispin. I’m one and a half years old, male, sheepadoodle, 44 pounds.

I am a human loving, playful dog. Due to a couple of medical issues when I first came to DRR, I’m just now coming into my playful personality. I love being pet, being near people, gobbling up my food, and going to dog parks! I play well by myself or with lots of other dogs. I love to frolic and play and run around free. I love all the toys and if there is a toy basket of my own that would be a dream!!! Since I’m still learning, I can get a little excited and jumpy and have just discovered nipping-I’m just so happy to see you. When my human friends calmly pet the top of my head or under belly I relax but for now I need gentle reminders. I redirect really well! I am crate trained but sometimes hesitate to go in. I do eventually settle on my dog bed. I’m recovered from my neuter surgery and bladder stones so I had a cone but thankfully that thing is gone!!! I’m accident free in the house as well, just let me out often please 🙂

I’m still working on learning how to be a young pup-not jumping on my human friends. I recently began playing with dog toys, so as long as I have those, I don’t chew on things that aren’t for me. Though, If I get left alone, I might try and play with clothes and socks thinking they are toys. Please don’t leave anything out that you don’t want chewed on!
