Hi there! My name is Cozy, but my foster family calls me Sandy—and I’ve grown to really like it. I’m an 11-month-old poodle mix with a soft heart and a curious soul. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once I feel safe, I open up into the sweet, gentle pup I truly am.

I adore the company of other animals, especially my foster sisters. We play, explore, and keep each other company—it brings me so much comfort and joy. Even though I’m still a puppy, I’m calm and thoughtful, often just watching the world around me with quiet curiosity.

Chewing is one of my favorite things—especially shoes, which I’m learning are not for chewing. My foster mom gives me toys and dental sticks to help me stay on track, and I love them just as much. I also love my crate; it’s my safe space when I’m feeling overwhelmed. I like friendly people, but I need to approach on my own terms, so kids who can be respectful to me would be best!. Once I am ready for affection, I’ll be right by your side.

My days are pretty simple. Breakfast in the morning, some quiet time while my foster mom works, a walk in the evening, and dinner before I settle in. I roam the house during the day and do well—as long as shoes are put away. If not, I might try to sneak one when no one’s looking.

I’m looking for a family who will be patient, kind, and ready to let me grow into the loving companion I know I can be. I have so much love to give—could I be the one you’ve been waiting for?

- Fenced in Yard
- Flexible Schedule
- Patience for Training
