Hi there! I’m Comfy, though my foster mom likes to call me Charlie Girl—and honestly, I think it fits me perfectly. I’m an 11-month-old, 60-pound Adoradoodle with soft golden curls and an even softer heart. Life didn’t start out easy for me, but I’ve learned just how good it feels to be loved, and now I’m ready to find a forever family who’ll love me right back.

I’m a gentle, sweet-natured girl who can be a little shy at first—new faces or loud noises sometimes make me hesitate—but once I know I’m safe, I’ll be your loyal shadow. I adore being near my people, whether that’s curling up next to you on the couch, resting at your feet, or following you around the house just to be close. I’ve recently discovered how fun toys are, especially my stuffed animals, which I proudly carry around like prized possessions (I promise, I don’t destroy them!).

When I’m not snuggling, I’m playing with my dog friends or going on walks. I’ve got a bit of a silly side—I might sneak off with a towel or sock if you leave one out—but I’m learning what’s mine and what’s not. I’m fully potty trained, use the doggy door like a champ, and do great left loose in the house. Crates aren’t my favorite, but I’m calm and content when left alone. I eat twice a day, love car rides, and sleep peacefully through the night, usually right on the big bed where I can be near you.

I’m still young and figuring out a few things—sometimes I get a little mouthy when I’m excited, and I can pull on the leash when adventure calls—but I’m a quick learner who responds well to gentle reminders. Because I’ve got a curious spirit and a knack for finding tiny escape routes, I’ll need a secure, tall fence to keep me safe during backyard playtime. And like most doodles, I need regular grooming, but I don’t mind being brushed and pampered one bit.

I’d do best in an active home where I can get plenty of exercise and attention. I’d also love to have a playful, high-energy dog sibling to romp around with—I’m still learning to match my energy levels, so calmer dogs might find me a bit much. Since I’m still growing into my size, a home with children eight or older would be best.

If you’re looking for a loving, loyal girl who’s equal parts cuddlebug and goofball, I think we might be a perfect match. I’ve come a long way, and with the right family, I know I’ll blossom into the confident, joyful companion I was meant to be.
