It's almost 2024 and there's nothing I want MORE than a family to ADORE! I'm Claus, a 4-month-old, 30-lb, male doodle with a tender heart full of love to share.

If I had a theme song, it would be "Forever Yours Faithfully" because I am the most loyal companion you could ask for; I am a gentle, old soul at heart. I am timid at first, but once I'm comfortable, I'll shower you with LOVE! I will lie at your feet with a chew toy, snooze with you in bed, share adventures, and follow you everywhere. I still have moments of puppy zoomies and tripping over my own feet, but I'm also observant and intelligent. I quickly learned to ring the bells to ask to go outside, use a doggie door, and basic commands. Training sessions are so much fun!

I get up with my foster mom around 7 am and head outside for potty and playtime. Afterward, I enjoy breakfast, some training, and more playtime. I prefer to hang out wherever my foster mom is and will happily curl up nearby when she is working. Since I am a growing puppy (and I mean GROWING!), I eat three times a day and nap plenty as well. I enjoy playtime and obedience training sessions where I work hard to learn new skills. Once it's bedtime, I will sleep in my crate by the bed, OR in the bed which I think is the perfect spot for a loyal dog like myself.

I am only 4 months old so I still have plenty to discover and learn. Confidence is one area where I could grow and it would help if I had a doggie sibling to show me the ropes. I am hoping to kick off my new year with my very own family who will love me as much as I will love them!

- Positive/Gentle Training Techniques
