Hi… I’m Clara, a beautiful young doodle girl, about 1–2 years old and around 45 pounds, with a soft coat and an even softer heart. I’m a gentle soul who is still learning that the world can be kind, so I might be a little shy when we first meet. But if you give me time, you’ll discover there’s something really special about me. I’m quiet, sensitive, and I feel things deeply—and once I trust you, that bond will mean everything to me.

Right now, my whole world is my foster mom and my dog sibling, Ally. I take comfort in following Ally’s lead, and having a confident dog friend nearby helps me feel safe and brave. New people can still be scary, so I’m not the kind of girl who runs up for hellos—but I *am* the kind who will love you in a deep, steady, forever kind of way once I know I’m safe.

I like calm days, gentle routines, and peaceful spaces where I can relax and just be. I do well when life feels predictable—meals on time, quiet moments to rest, and slow walks where I can build my confidence at my own pace. I’m crate trained and find comfort in having a cozy, safe place of my own. I’m also getting a little extra help with my worries right now, and I’m doing my best to grow braver every day.

I’m not a “right away” kind of dog—I’m a “worth the wait” kind of dog. I’ll need patience, understanding, and a home that moves at a softer pace. But if you’re willing to give me that time, you’ll get to watch me blossom into the most loyal, loving companion. And I promise… it will be something really beautiful to see.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have another confident dog sibling
- Calm household (low traffic, low noise)
- Children 12+ only
- Fenced-in yard preferred
- Work-from-home or flexible schedule strongly preferred
- Patience and commitment to continued confidence-building and training
