Chip‘s Story

Chip is a beautiful 9 yr old soft coated Wheaton terrier. He has the sweetest disposition and all he wants to do is be near you and be loved. Chip came from the streets of Houston a couple of months ago and was in bad shape. HW+ , teeth infected, and underweight. He is now done with his treatments, bad teeth removed, neutered and ready for his forever home.

So who would be the right match for Chip? Someone who is home during the day or retired. He wants to be your true companion and sit next to you on the couch and look lovingly in your eyes. Chip has done well with other laid back dogs his size or would be good as your only. Due to his age we wouldn’t suggest puppies or young children. Chip is developing some cataracts so his depth perception in the house can be affected but once he learns the lay of the land he is good to go. He loves to be outside and can spot a squirrel or bunny a mile away. Chip has so much love to give!

Chip is potty trained and does fine in the car and wants to be right next to you while walking on a leash. He will be timid at first but warms up fast and will be loyal to the end.

Chip is fully vaccinated, HW+ (received treatment), sterilized and microchipped.
