Hi there—I’m Carmella, but my friends call me Mel. I’m a curly-coated, tail-curling, 50-pound bundle of happy somewhere between puppy and grown-up, and I’ve decided my life’s purpose is to be wherever you are. My foster pawrents even did one of those fancy doggie DNA tests, and guess what—I’m 82% poodle and 18% golden retriever. So yes, I’m officially a Goldendoodle! Don’t let this dark hair fool you—I’ve got that classic golden heart, full of sweetness, loyalty, and just a little bit of goofy charm.

If you’re moving, I’m following. If you’re sitting, I’m snuggling. If you’re feeling even a little bit down, I’m already on my way with my best offering: my emotional support ball. It’s my prized possession, and while I’ll gladly bring it to you, handing it over is more of a… friendly negotiation. I could play fetch for hours, and if my ball disappears, don’t worry—I’ll launch a full investigation and won’t rest until it’s found.

I love people more than just about anything, and I’m happiest soaking up attention, going for rides (especially the kind that end in pup cups), or keeping a watchful eye on the yard as head of squirrel patrol. I get along with other dogs when we take things nice and easy, and I do best with calm, easygoing companions. Cats? Well, they’re fascinating, and sometimes I forget my manners, but I’m learning.

My days are simple and sweet—eat, play, nap, repeat—with plenty of time built in for cuddling and keeping you company. I’ll follow you from room to room like your soft, slightly goofy shadow, but I can also relax in my crate when needed. I know a few basics already and I’m eager to learn more, especially if it means making you proud.

If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with a playful spirit, a curious mind, and just the right amount of silly, I think I might be your girl. Just be prepared to share your heart… and maybe throw a ball or two.
