Hi, I'm Cardigan — the cool, collected one from the Putt-Putt litter, and yes, I already know I'm the smart one.

While my siblings are busy chasing the water bowl around the kitchen, I go straight to where the food bowl lands. I've had the routine figured out for weeks. My foster mom is impressed. I am not surprised.

I'm a poodle mix — golden doodle mom, mystery dad who almost certainly looks exactly like me — and at just 9 pounds (and climbing!), I am small but mighty in all the ways that matter. My coat is cloud-soft, my snuggles are championship-level, and my lap-sitting technique is basically flawless.
I do love a good romp with my siblings, but I'm the one who opts out of the chaos when things get really rowdy. Puppy pile-up? I'll be over here, being serene. It's a gift.

New people used to make me do a little think-it-over, but once I decide you're good people, I'm all in — face licks, lap cuddles, full commitment. Little humans, big humans, doesn't matter. If you've got a lap, I've got plans for it.

My days are wonderfully structured: up at 6:05, breakfast by 6:15, then an hour of zoomies before my very important morning nap. Potty breaks every three hours, a midday snack, dinner at 4:30, and evening outdoor playtime until the sun clocks out. I'm still mastering the classics — gentle mouth manners, polite attention-asking, and this wild invention called a leash (just got my first vaccines, so the whole world is basically brand new to me).
