Hi! I’m Candy, a 1-year-old Apricot Red Female Standard Poodle. I weigh just over 40lbs.

I have a big personality! I love to play with dogs of all shapes and sizes, but take time to warm up to strangers inside my home. I am a by-the-book poodle: obedient, smart, playful, enthusiastic, plus I love running and retrieving; I'm shy with strangers and I get along with familiar faces. I love wearing hair bows, playing with balls and stuffies, going on runs and walks, getting groomed, giving kisses, and cuddling.

I wake up around 7am and it’s straight to potty outside. I’ll have my breakfast right away and play with my foster siblings for a few hours. I’m a go with the flow girl, I’ll happily go for a walk, or just lay by your side for the day. I have dinner around 5pm and like to spend some time outside enjoying the smells and exploring. I prefer to sleep in your room on my dog bed or in the crate with the door open.

I am working on manners, not pulling on my leash on a walk - I do better on runs! I have allergies that are managed with a daily Zyrtec. I will do best in a home with another playful dog, and proper introductions when new human friends come to visit.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have another dog sibling over 20lbs
- No children
- Active family; home with few visitors
- Willingness to put effort/money/time in with her allergies
