Hi! My name is Calix, and I'm a 1-year-old Poodle mix weighing about 17 pounds. I'm a happy little guy with a big personality, a fluffy white coat, and an adorable underbite that's guaranteed to make you smile. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who loves both adventures and cuddle time, I might just be your perfect match.

The outdoors is my happy place! I love exploring the yard, soaking up the sunshine, playing with my foster sister Harley (she's a cat!), and even hanging out with the chickens. When I'm inside, you'll often find me perched on the cat tree like I own the place, but I'm always happy to climb down for belly rubs or curl up beside you on the couch.

My days are pretty easygoing. I start with breakfast and a potty break before relaxing in my crate for a little while when my foster mom has to leave. Once she's home, we're back outside to play, explore, or toss a ball around. After an afternoon nap, we settle in for dinner, TV, and cuddles before I sleep quietly through the night in my crate. I do have a little case of FOMO, though, so my crate isn't exactly my favorite place if everyone else is having fun!

I'm friendly with dogs, great with cats, and enjoy meeting new canine friends on walks. I walk nicely on my harness and love tagging along wherever life takes us. I'm also an excellent little watchdog and will happily let you know when someone is nearby. Sometimes I get a bit enthusiastic with my announcements, but I just take my security job seriously!

I'm still polishing up my potty training and do best on a consistent schedule. I settle well in my crate with a little encouragement and am continuing to learn my basic commands.

My dream home would have another dog or a cat to keep me company, a securely fenced yard where I can spend time outside, and a family that's home at least part of the day. I'm an affectionate, easygoing little guy who just wants to be included in whatever you're doing. Give me some love, a little patience, and a sunny backyard, and I'll be your happiest little shadow.

- No children under age 6 (haven't been around kids!)
- Fenced in backyard (I love being outside!)
- No Apartments (I bark a lot!)
