Hello! My name is Bruiser. I’m a 1.5 yrs old Male Poodle Mix and weigh 60lbs.

My foster mom says I love to be loved. When I first arrived at Doodle Rock, I was uncertain of people or my surroundings, but now I am digging all the attention and pets. Once we get to know each other, we are best buds and you can give me back scratches and hugs all day long! I’m super curious and just want to explore and play with other dogs. I love to chew on bones and play chase with my foster brother. We love to hang out outside and run and play. I definitely love having dog friends.

I’m up about 6:45am and eat breakfast, then run a few laps with my brother. Dinner is about 5:45 and bedtime is about 9pm. I love a nice cozy bed and a fluffy blanket. My foster mom takes me for walks and it’s so much fun. I really like to see the outside world! I am also learning to use a doggy door and getting pretty good at going in and out.

I’m still working on being comfortable around new people and being on a leash. Kids are not my thing, but I probably need to give them a chance. I think adults are my favorite so far. I’m slowly learning that it’s going to be okay, and that there are good people out there who want to love me. I can't wait to meet my fur-ever family! Apply today.
